I work at the intersection of economic law and technological innovation: banking, financial markets and digital regulation. I am drawn to environments where the rules are still being written, and I bring that same technical demand to litigation, with results in banking and consumer matters from my first year in practice.

Banking, economic law and TechLaw
David works actively in banking litigation, debt recovery claims and commercial law, with ongoing matters of considerable complexity involving directors' liability. He has worked on commercial disputes concerning branches, subsidiaries, franchises and international distribution agreements. He works with LegalTech platforms, electronic administration and the design of legal content processes, and handles the overlap between AI Act compliance, the GDPR and data protection in technically demanding environments. He has a multidisciplinary academic background in the fields of Law & Political Science.
Graduate in Law and Political Science from the University of Granada, specialising in comparative politics and European institutions. His postgraduate research at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide covered the regulation of smart contracts, intellectual property and data protection, with an active academic interest in banking regulation, securities markets, European financial markets law and the digitalisation of the legal system. Admitted to the Bar and in active practice since 2023, part of PASSAS since its founding.
My practice focuses on the areas where economic law meets technology: banking and financial markets law, digital law and regulation.
I read for the double degree in Law and Political Science at the University of Granada, specialising in comparative politics and European institutions. I pointed my career from the outset at the intersection of technology and institutions, and my postgraduate research at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide dealt with the regulation of smart contracts, intellectual property and data protection.
After working as a paralegal in banking law, I joined PASSAS at its founding. I obtained my first successful judgment against BBVA within months of being admitted to the Bar, and since then I have handled banking litigation, debt recovery claims and commercial matters involving directors' liability.
I am drawn to environments where the rules are still being written: banking regulation, securities markets, European financial markets law and the digitalisation of the legal system. Away from the firm, numismatics and philosophy have given me the habit of structural analysis, and it is the same one I bring to every matter.
